What goin on in baby’s little brain? It the modern tools of neuroscience are demonstrating to us what’s going on up there is nothing short of rocket science.

Language has a critical period for learning.

You know, babies and children are genius until they turn seven and there’s a systematic decline.

Patricia works on lab that focused on the first critical period in development. That is period in which baby try to master which sound are used in their language. They’ve been studying the babies, the baby sits on parent’s lap and they train them to turn their heads when  a sound change.

Baby all over the world are citizen of the world.

Babies at the age of six to eight months are totally equivalent. Two months later is two-month month of critical period for sound development. There are two things going on. The first babies are listening to us, as the’re listening to us they’re taking statistics. Babies are sensitive  to the statistics.

Patricia said changing our models of what the critical period about. Billinguals must keep two sets of statistics in mind at once and flip between them. It depends on who they’re speaking to. 

As Patricia works in lab. She and her team tested some babies as the wanted to see what in her brain.

From some tested and the result. Babies are actually amazing. As the babies hear a world in her language, the auditory areas light up. And you know what? One brain area causing another to active.

And, they are embarking  on a grand and golden agae of knowlegdge about child’s development. And what is more insteristing is that in investigating the child’s brain, they’re going to uncover deep truths about what it means to be human, and in the process,  and  she said that they may be able to help keep their own minds open to learning for their entire lives.

And, as watching this video. We can see how amazing and geniur the babies are. Based on the explanation, we also can take a lesson. And for those who have babies, I mean it shouldn’t be your own baby, right? It could be your sister or brother or maybe your niece.

And it’s the right time to teach baby laguange at their golden age.
