In 1931, her granny graduated from the 8th grade. went to school to get the information in the book and teacher's idea. her granny need to go there to get the information. her father also went to school to get the information from the teacher and save the memory in his head.
When Diana was a kid, she did not need to go library because the information was in her Ensyclopedia.

but, now generation is different as internet is tool of education.

Diana is a teacher. she went to Kansas (small town) to teach American government in second year. she need to change the strategy in teaching because the students do not interested. she gave the authentic experience where they learn by them ownself. she gave the problem, she didn't tell them what to do but students did it!
from Kansas to Arizona, she taught geography in Flagstaff middle school students. she taught by the real example of someone's life. from Arizona, the point is when we ask the students to use their voices to speak to their self. for them, it is impact of other people in positive way when we asked and take time to listen and it is amazing.
shea laso taught in Pennsylvania and In philadelphian.
from one school to another school she ever taught, she leaned!

and the main point is, if we look at education as if it is about coming to school to get the information not about exeperienced the learning process and teacher do not empowering the students's voice and embracing failure, then we're missing the mark!

from the mistakes we can know and learn what to do next!

we should have the value and good qualities in education and do better!
